The cottage is situated in the Burns Country approximately 7 miles south of the town of Ayr and 1 mile from the village of Dunure. The area is known as 'Burns country' because the famous Scottish poet, Robert Burns once lived in the area.
The cottage views over the Isle of Arran. Luxurious evening sunsets over Ailsa Craig can also be seen from the cottage. The cottage is convenient for fishing, touring the area and of course golfing at places such as the nearby Turnberry Golf Course, which is one of the golf courses used for the British Open.
Places of interest nearby include: Centrum Arena, home of the ice-hockey team: Ayr Scottish Eagles * Burns Heritage Trail * Culzean Castle/Country Park * Dunure Castle.
Sleeping from 1 to 6 persons, Mill Cottage is ideal for short breaks or longer holidays.
Cots and highchairs are available for free.
Mill Cottage is a three bedroomed cottage sleeping up to 6 people. Mill Cottage, which is graded as 3 STARS by the Scottish Tourist Board, comprises of hall, lounge/dining room, kitchen, colour t.v. & video, electric cooker, microwave, washing machine, tumble drier, fridge/freezer, crockery & pots etc. for eight people, toaster, kettle, hoover, iron and ironing board.
The bathroom comprises of a bath; shower; wc and hand basin. Two fire extinguishers, garden areas with small patio. There is parking for up to three cars beside Mill Cottage.
Bedrooms: DOUBLE BEDROOM - 1 DOUBLE BED <> SINGLE BEDROOM - 1 SINGLE BED <> FAMILY BEDROOM - 1 DOUBLE BED, 1 SINGLE BED & BUNK BEDS.
Pets are allowed by arrangement only.
RESERVING YOUR HOLIDAY
To reserve on enquire about your holiday you can: Write, Telephone, Email or fax the dates you wish to stay at Mill Cottage. After we have contacted you, with all suitable information, and you decide to book the holiday, you are requested to send a letter of confirmation of the dates along with a 20% deposit.

CANCELLATION
It is recommended that you insure your holiday incase you have to unfortunately cancel your holiday. A recommended low-cost insurance plan will be enclosed in your free information pack.
